Transparency in the Origin of Elevator Brands

Please note that: The elevators manufactured by HSV Elevator utilize the K-MC1000 control system and WR & WJC / KDS gearless traction machines (part of the Nidec Group of Japan) – renowned for their smooth operation, energy efficiency, and high durability. However, these are still products manufactured in Vietnam under the HSV Elevator brand . Only products directly imported from the Nidec Elevator Group are permitted to use the Nidec Group's logo.

1. Nidec Corporation, Japan

Nidec Group (Japan) is one of the world's leading manufacturers of electric motors and elevators. The company has a global network of member companies and specializes in providing vertical transportation solutions such as elevators, escalators, and passenger conveyors for various sectors. Nidec's strengths lie in its advanced technology, high safety standards, and extensive production and service network. Its products are used in many large-scale projects worldwide, with factories in over 40 countries, including Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City).

2. Nidec KDS

Nidec KDS, located in Foshan, China , is a key unit of Nidec Corporation, serving as a manufacturing and research and development (R&D) center for elevator motors in Asia. Headquartered in Foshan, Guangdong Province, it is a strategic hub serving both the Chinese and international markets. Nidec KDS specializes in the design and manufacture of motors and drive systems for elevators, escalators, and various other industrial applications. Leveraging Nidec's advanced technology and global manufacturing network, KDS provides high-quality, reliable products and comprehensive technical solutions to customers worldwide. Furthermore, KDS acts as a hub for technical resources, contributing to Nidec's market expansion in regions such as North America, Asia, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.

The relationship between HSV Elevator and Nidec KDS:

From January 2024, Hoang Sa Viet officially became the distributor of Nidec KDS elevator motors and components. Based on this, we develop and distribute products in three distinct lines, each with its own brand identity and specific terms as follows:

• Article 1 : For products imported as complete units from Nidec Elevator Corporation, the brand name used will be “Nidec Elevator” .

• Article 2: For products manufactured and assembled in Vietnam but using key components from Nidec such as motors and control cabinets, the product shall still bear the brand name “HSV Elevator” , and shall include a clear note regarding the use of Nidec components.

• Article 3: For products manufactured by Hoang Sa Viet using components from other suppliers, the products will be completely unrelated to Nidec Corporation.

This once again confirms that customers purchasing products manufactured by Hoang Sa Viet will not be allowed to use the Nidec Elevator brand as described in section 1.
